Launch Date Announced!

Dribble Funk Comics is pleased to announce that DONNIE ROCKET TOASTER-FACE, otherwise known as this webcomic site, will officially launch on May 17, 2010!

Leading up to that there will be ample reminders on all sorts of social media and such. In the works are a Face Book Page, a mailing list link, an intro video and a bunch of other "things to do" to make sure everything is all set. It's like planning for a party, but, well... digital.

If you are reading this right now, be sure to come back on Monday, May 17 and join the fun.

Hello there,

I'm Brad and this is soon going to be the DONNIE ROCKET TOASTER-FACE webcomic site. I am uber-excited about this, folks. I have been dithering away my time in the world of small independent theatre for the last two decades of my life and, though I love it, theatre is a lot like the rock Sisyphus rolls up the hill. You always go back to the bottom to start on the next project. I wanted to do something purely fun and enjoyable for a change, without too much pressure. So, here we are...

I drew comics years ago and have done so spottily since. My "style" is hopelessly stuck in the very "2-D" era of pen on page, and that's okay with me. I'm not out to be the slickest dude in town. I just wanna draw some funny comics, get 'em out into the world and have you read 'em. Maybe you'll laugh a bit.

I'm set to launch this site officially in late May 2010. Have to build up a little bit of reserves before I try putting something new up every week. Also, I want the site itself to be an inviting and simple and user -friendly as I can get it before I go "public." If you're reading this early post, I hope you'll come back and see what's what.
